United Health Care has always been an amazing business system. What does that mean? It is great for profits, but not for health. Big business means members stay sick for years on long term medications when there are possibly better solutions.

Dr. Leyla Ali has been a pharmacist for over 25 years, speaker, and the author of Off Balance, the American Way of Health, A Pharmacist’s Perspective on Why Drugs Don’t Work (2012) and the just released The So You’ve Been Diagnosed with Cancer and Now You’re in a Panic Handbook (2023).
Her mission is to share the limitations of our medical system of doctors and drugs, and also share the many different alternatives and natural remedies for better health.
Dr. Leyla is currently teaching a free weekly online Deprescribing class for anyone who wants to explore other solutions to their health than doctors and drugs. Her approach includes nutrition, detoxification, power of the mind, emotions, lifestyle, as well as natural and holistic health guest presenters.
Her first book, Off Balance, the American Way of Health, A Pharmacist’s Perspective on Why Drugs Don’t Work (2012), is a comparison of Western Medicine and holistic health. It includes interviews with several people who were able to heal themselves from health conditions their doctors couldn’t treat, including chronic pain, neuropathy, addictions, and cancer.
Her recent cancer booklet, The So You’ve Been Diagnosed with cancer and Now You’re in a Panic Handbook is a light read and an excellent summary of points that people need to know when diagnosed with cancer or trying to prevent cancer. The booklet is easy to read, yet armored with information that is enlightening and empowering, and not typically shared by their medical doctors. The goal of the booklet is to take readers from fear and panic to empowered and proactive.
Her handbook is recommended and supported by the Cancer Control Society, which is a non-profit that has been sharing non-toxic cancer treatments for over 45 years. It is also now available at Life Shine Wellness Center in South Africa which is a healing center which provides many of the non-toxic treatments for cancer. The doctors keep copies in the lobby so they are available for their patients to read, especially when they first come in, scared and unsure of what they need to do to heal or even if they can heal.
